What we've been reading

So, it has been busy at Essential Curriculum Towers. Since we set up our platform, the aim has been to dive into literature and discover new authors, re-visit some classic and re ignite a passion for books by black writers.

Our second book was the groundbreaking Blink, by Malcolm Gladwell. Not a novel by any stretch, we regard this as more of a reference work for anyone interested in human behaviour and observational psychology.

The author cut his teeth writing columns for the New York Times and has published other books too. Because many of the topics in Blink are based on real life situations and get you to reflect on how you react and behave, it is probably a difficult book to review as such. It is more of an experience that you can discuss with someone else who has read it. If you haven't come across it already, please check it out. Would love to hear your thoughts. Let's Blink!
